Principal's Corner

“It’s always a great day of teaching and learning at the JAGS DEN!”

Dear Students, Parents & Guardians,

I wholeheartedly believe the above statement and try to model it for students each day they step foot onto our campus. It is a privilege and an honor to come back home to serve the students of Conecuh County! Having graced the halls of Hillcrest High School as a student and a former teacher, it is my goal to not only lead staff in teaching and learning , but I also want to ensure that the initiatives we put in place are equitable and sustainable for our community.

Our purpose at Hillcrest High School is simple. We seek to: Educate, Expose, Empower, Enrich and Encourage students.  We want learners to be successful and walk away inspired because of HOW they were treated not IN SPITE OF how they were treated.  The lessons that are created, the field experiences that are planned, the guest speakers that are chosen, the activities that are organized, and the partnerships that are made with business and industry are key elements to ensure that we produce well rounded viable assets for the community.

Thank you for the continued support and I look forward to continuing to shape our high school students to be the next leaders of Conecuh County!
